Even before Poland joined the European Union and the wave of the “Great Emigration,” she noticed a gap in the market and decided to support the still small but growing Polish community in London. Like any business abroad, the humble beginnings came with countless hours of hard work, stress, and sleepless nights. But dedication paid off, immigration and tax consultations, such as UK tax refunds, along with help in everyday matters like obtaining benefits or unemployment support, quickly became highly sought after. She first helped dozens, then hundreds, and now thousands of Poles living in the UK.
Gaining experience in the UK’s immigration, tax, and legal systems became not only work but also a passion for Monika and her team. After 2004, as waves of Poles arrived in the UK seeking a better future, the small office in Hayes relocated to Hounslow.
